I’m a software engineer from West Bengal, India. I write here on blogK, a quiet place for notes and thoughts. The rest of my work lives at iamk.xyz.

I’m a frontend developer becoming a full-stack AI engineer and computer science researcher. I ship custom React and Next.js UI: new builds, revamps, consulting, and cleaning up AI-generated frontend slop that looks polished but doesn’t hold up.

Client and studio work goes through makershot.tech. I’m also studying for TIFR and documenting what I learn in public.

I owe a lot of my craft to the web and open source: reading other people’s code, shipping small things, and writing when something finally clicks.

What I work on

  • Custom frontend and product UI with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
  • Frontend revamps: turning aging or inconsistent interfaces into something cleaner and more maintainable.
  • Consulting on architecture, stack choices, UI review, and performance for teams shipping React/Next.js products.
  • Cleaning up AI-generated frontend slop: less layout soup, fewer empty abstractions, more product sense.
  • Design-to-code work: Figma (or similar) to production, with real attention to typography, interaction, and taste.
